Adventure motorcycle rental in Tangier with Keni Rides

Motorcycle rental in Tangier

Pick up your motorcycle in Tangier, at Europe's doorstep, and ride out to the Rif, Chefchaouen and the Mediterranean coast. Delivery to the port, to Ibn Battouta airport or to your hotel.

Your starting point

Tangier is the natural entry point for riders arriving from Spain. The ferry from Tarifa or Algeciras puts northern Morocco a few hours from Andalusia, and the road starts climbing into the Rif as soon as you leave the city. It is also the best base if you want to ride the Mediterranean coast, which most classic itineraries skip entirely.

Renting here rather than shipping your own bike across saves you the customs paperwork, the wear of the approach ride and the insurance extension. We hand you a machine already registered and insured in Morocco, with gear and support in French, English and Spanish.

Frequently asked questions

I arrive by ferry from Spain — where do I collect the bike?

We deliver to Tanger Med port and to Tangier City port, as well as to Ibn Battouta airport and city-centre hotels. Send us your crossing time and we schedule the handover around your arrival.

Is renting easier than bringing my own motorcycle?

Far easier. No temporary import declaration, no green card extension, no approach mileage: you arrive and take the keys to a bike already road-legal in Morocco.

Can I ride south and drop the bike elsewhere?

Yes. Plenty of riders start in Tangier and return the bike in Fez, Marrakech or at our Kénitra base, for a transfer surcharge.

When is the best time to ride in the Rif?

Spring and autumn are perfect. Winter is mild on the coast but the passes can be damp and foggy; summer is pleasant by the Mediterranean, with noticeably heavier traffic around Tangier in August.

How many days should I allow from Tangier?

Two days is enough for Chefchaouen and back, four for the Mediterranean coast as far as Al Hoceima, and a week to ride south to Fez and the imperial cities.

Ready to ride out of Tangier?

Send us your dates and route and we will prepare the right motorcycle and reply the same day.
