Adventure motorcycle rental in Fez with Keni Rides

Motorcycle rental in Fez

Pick up your motorcycle in Fez and head for the Middle Atlas, the cedar forests of Ifrane and the Sahara. Delivery to your riad in the medina or to Fès-Saïss airport.

Your starting point

Fez is the gateway to the Middle Atlas. Within an hour's ride you go from the largest medina in the world to the cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou, where the air is cool and the roads empty. It is also the most direct start for the Sahara, via Midelt and Errachidia, without doubling back through Marrakech.

We deliver a prepped BMW GS, Yamaha Ténéré or Suzuki DR to you in Fez, with safety gear and a route briefing. The medina is pedestrian, so we agree a handover point you can reach on foot from your riad.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Where do I collect the bike in Fez?

At your riad or hotel, at Fès-Saïss airport, or at a meeting point in the Ville Nouvelle. Since the medina is pedestrian, we agree the nearest accessible point to your door.

Is Fez a good start for the desert?

It is the most direct route. Via Midelt, Errachidia and the Ziz gorges you reach Merzouga in two enjoyable days, with far less traffic than the Marrakech corridor.

Which bike for the Middle Atlas?

The roads are paved and flowing, so the Ténéré 700 and the BMW GS are perfect. In winter, be aware that it can snow above 1,500 metres — we will advise on timing and gear before you set off.

When is the best time to ride from Fez?

Spring and autumn are the best seasons. In winter the Middle Atlas is beautiful under snow but the passes demand care; in summer the medina and the plain easily pass 40 °C while the cedar forest stays cool.

How many days should I allow from Fez?

One day for Ifrane and Azrou, two days to Chefchaouen, and two to three days to reach Merzouga — so allow five to six days for a comfortable round trip to the Sahara.
